As AI becomes more integrated into the creative industry, my Brand Photography class explored how it can be used as a tool for visual storytelling. The project was to generate imagery with AI and construct a short video campaign for a small fashion or accessory brand.
I chose Ophelia Eve, a fine jewelry brand rooted in mythology, history, and heirloom storytelling. Their pieces feel like artifacts from another era. Romantic, symbolic, and timeless.
Jewelry holds stories across generations. It connects memory, identity, and history. When something is truly timeless, it can exist in both the past and the present at once.
Inspired by Victorian era paintings and classical romantic imagery, the video brings historic artwork to life.
By animating classical imagery, the campaign reflects what Ophelia Eve represents. Modern jewelry inspired by the beauty, symbolism, and mythology of earlier eras.
Using Google Gemini and DeepVidAI, I generated imagery inspired by oil paintings of women, romantic landscapes, flowers, lakes, and swans. I then combined and animated these visuals into a cinematic sequence where the scenes subtly move, almost like classical paintings coming to life. Jewelry appears within these moments, glowing against the rich painted textures.
The contrast between AI technology and classical artistic inspiration reflects the identity of Ophelia Eve itself. It is a modern jewelry brand with timeless style, and the video mirrors that same balance between past and present.
